Hahnii Kokedama
'Hannii' is a Birds Nest Sansevieria Kokedama (aka Snake Plant) and is practically self-caring, super hardy and will grow almost anywhere. They can easily survive with watering once a month or less in cooler climates.
This plant variety is also known for resembling a beautiful rosette shape and can grow up to 30 cm tall at the most.
As Hahnii is in the Sansevieria family, it rates top of the ladder in air purifying. Please also be aware that they are listed as poisonous houseplants, so consider positioning them well out of reach from fur babies and family.
PRODUCT INFO
Hahnii Sansevieria plant size will vary (due to availability of plant stock). Each living art creation is unique, but will look very similar to the Kokedamas pictured in this product catalogue.
The actual Hahnii plant will be approx 10-12 cm in height from the top of Kokedama. Generally the Kokedama ball size for this product will be slightly bigger than the size of a baseball. All Kokedamas are made using combination of sphagnum moss, peat moss, soil, bark and twine.
Basic Care:
Due to kokedamas being moss based, the plant root system will absorb the moisture they need to grow from the kokedama ball. When the Kokedama ball becomes light in weight, the plant will generally need watering.
- Most of the time these kokedamas will only need a soak once a month, but maybe more frequent in warmer months.
- To water your Kokedama, they require a 10 minute soak with approx 5 cm of water, using a sink or bowl.
- After soaking the plant you will notice it is heavier in weight, due to the water absorbed.
- Kokedamas also like air flow, so recommend a stand to allow good air flow or hanging your kokedama.
