Lucky Bamboo Kokedama
Lucky Bamboo Kokedamas are made with 2 beautiful entwined Lucky Bamboo plants and together are symbolicly known as an 'expression of love'.
The Lucky Bamboo plant itself is actually not 'bamboo', but is a variety of Dracaena plants. Lucky Bamboo Kokedamas are bound to boost your Feng Shui, some even say the 2 stems can 'double your luck'.
These kokedamas can sometimes be a little fussy, but mostly because they will not like to dry out. Generally recommended soaking every 1-2 weeks. (dependant on weather, as they will get thirsty in summer and may require a weekly soak). Lucky Bamboo is perfect for indoors as it requires low light, but may not grow well in complete darkness.
If leaves begin to turn yellow, this could be due to tap water containing chlorine, so recommend using filtered water to prolong life. Please also be mindful that Lucky Bamboo is toxic to animals if injested, so consider placing out of reach.

Kokedama Lucky Bamboo plant size will vary (due to availability of plant stock). Each living art creation is unique, but will look similar to the Kokedamas pictured in this product catalogue.
The actual Lucky Bamboo plant can be approx 40-50 cm in height from the top of Kokedama. Generally the Kokedama ball size for this product will be around slightly bigger in size than a grapefruit.
All Kokedamas are made using combination of sphagnum moss, peat moss, soil, bark and twine.
Basic Care:
Due to kokedamas being moss based, the plant root system will absorb the moisture they need to grow from the kokedama ball. When the Kokedama ball becomes light in weight, the plant will generally need watering.
- Most of the time Lucky Bamboo kokedamas will need a soak once every 1-2 weeks (depending on season).
- To water your Kokedama, they require a 10 minute soak with approx 5 cm of water, using a sink or bowl.
- After soaking the plant you will notice it is heavier in weight, due to the water absorbed.
- Kokedamas also like air flow, so recommend a stand to allow good air flow or hanging your kokedama.
